Is there a limit on storage for paid Box SysCloud subscription?
Each Box backup license lets you back up 1 user and adds 75GB to your pooled storage. For example, 10 licenses let you back up 10 Box users with 750GB of storage. If you purchase more than 100 licenses with an annual plan, you’ll be eligible for unlimited storage (Fair use policy applicable).
Can SysCloud restore Box files and folders to a different user?
Yes. SysCloud lets admins restore Box files and folders either to the original owner or to a different user.
Can I export specific Box files, folders, or a full user account?
Yes. Admins can export selected Box files, folders, or full Box user accounts from the backup archives.
Can I set a custom retention period for Box backups?
Yes. When setting up a Box backup job, admins can choose unlimited retention or define a custom retention period.
Can users delete data from their backup archives?
No. Users cannot delete data from their backup archives. Archive deletion is restricted to administrators.
How often does SysCloud back up Box data?
SysCloud automatically backs up Box data every 24 hours. Admins can also trigger a manual backup in addition to the daily automatic backup.
What are my storage location options for SysCloud backup archives?
SysCloud backup archives can be securely stored in AWS cloud storage locations across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan or Germany.
