Frequently asked questions

If you’re hesitating, do not worry, we are here to explain everything you might want to know. Let us help!

Yes. New paid SysCloud subscriptions require a minimum purchase of 100 licenses, with each license letting you back up 1 user.
This minimum applies only to new paid subscriptions, free trials and existing customers are excluded.
The 100-license minimum applies to your overall subscription, whether you buy licenses for a single cloud or across multiple clouds. It is not a per-cloud requirement.
No. The 100-license minimum applies only to new paid subscriptions. As an existing customer, you may continue with your current number of licenses and are not required to purchase additional licenses. Should this requirement change in the future, we will notify you in advance.

Your backup storage is uncapped, subject to our fair use policy. There is no fixed storage limit while your subscription is active, provided your usage stays reasonably proportionate to your number of licensed users. If your usage goes well beyond what a subscription of your size would normally involve, we may review it with you and discuss suitable adjustments, which may include additional licenses or revised terms.

Yes. SysCloud lets you back up only your Shared Drives, with no separate pricing for each service.
If you are only backing up Shared Drives, your storage is 100 GB per Google Workspace license, not uncapped. So to protect 800 GB of Shared Drive data, you would need 8 licenses.
Please note that all new SysCloud subscriptions require a minimum of 100 licenses across all the apps you back up. This minimum is overall, not per app, and your Shared Drive licenses count toward it.
Yes. Admins can enable backup for the Gmail and Google Drive Trash folders when creating a backup job. Trash is not included by default.

Yes. During the free trial, you can back up Shared Drive and Google Classroom data. However, the trial supports backup for up to 10 Shared Drives and 10 Classrooms, within the storage capacity available during your trial period. To know more about the backup functionality for the shared apps, please contact our support team.

SysCloud backup archives can be securely stored in AWS cloud storage locations across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, Singapore, and Japan.
