Yes. The Trash folders are not backed up by default. Admins can enable backup for Outlook and OneDrive recycle bin when creating a backup job.

Can I backup SharePoint and Teams during free trial period?

Yes, but please note that backup functionality for shared apps is not available for accounts within a specific user range during the free trial period. Each license includes 75 GB of storage, which can be used for both user data and shared application data. For example, if you need to protect 750 GB of shared data, you would need 10 licenses.
